They had one huge bottle of Peach Ciroc that clearly NO ONE was purchasing.  75$, which I expected.

Although I commend them on that one lonely bottle..but that was ALL the ciroc they had. NOTHING else. No coconut. No berry. Nada. Annoying.

The employee was not too friendly but not mean. You see pretty girls come in to your liquor store you flirt (respectfully) and make them think this is the best liquor they're going to find in all of Washington DC. He didn't do that.

When we walked in there was only one other person. Soon the place was packed. Very glad we walked in when we did. After debating and going over what he had we made our purchase and got out of there.

Not the slimiest of places. I wasn't nervous even when it got crowded and that's usually when I would get nervous. lol

As far as liquor stores go.. it's okay if you're in the area. It was opening weekend for Peach Ciroc in DC though.. so I'm assuming he felt he didn't need to have any other Ciroc and definitively didn't need a smaller size of that one.

Their name should be Serv-U-Not Liquors... The lady at the counter is very rude... I asked her to show me what she had in smaller bottles (they were behind the counter out of sight)... She rudely told me she could not show me everything and that I should tell her exactly what I wanted... I did not know what to get and wanted to make a choice based on my options.. I put  back whatever other things I had picked up to buy and walked out...
I read some comments here about the lady being racist against African Americans... Its ironic since she herself is black... But being from part of world with colonial mindset, it does not surprise me...

The owner is very rude and discriminatory. Don't waste your time at this place. There are so many more liquor stores in the area.

Do not shop here the lady working is racist. I no longer live in DC but to see this pisses me off. This used to be called CHOCOLATE CITY. The picture with my review explains what happened to this young lady. I'm not sure if the woman working there was the owner but if she wasn't you should fire her now!

I should have listened to the other reviews. Absolutely racist experience. I really should contact lawyers honestly. You're in chocolate city and you treat potentially customers like garbage. And on U Street of ALL PLACES

Honestly, if anyone reads this review, you're better off attempting to make your own liquor at home. Lol.
